Mungbean is a valuable summer crop rotation with high water use efficiency, quick maturity and requires minimal fertiliser input. All stages of crop production and processing must comply with strict hygiene practices to ensure the crop meets the highest standards for food safety and hygiene.
The AMA recognises the vital role agronomists play in advising growers and assisting them to grow the best performing and most valuable crops possible in the longer term.
The AMA produces a range of materials and courses to assist agronomists to play this important role including Variety Management Packages (VMP) and agronomy courses conducted by our experienced Industry Development Agronomist together with other government and industry researchers and experts.
